Watch all of this with your eyeballs.

U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth had thoughts about that:

🔥🔥🔥

As it turns out, Christianity is not secular liberalism. Many people are trying to rediscover what that means, and there's a good bit of stumbling around in the dark as they do. More than a few have stubbed their toes recently looking for the light switch and are busy blaming the Jews for it.

Liberals want a world where their theocracy reigns supreme: One where the self is god and tolerance is the chief virtue. They want the wrappings of Christian virtue - patience, hope, and love among them - without any of God's commands that may interfere with how they live their lives.

Notice how the reporter frames her questions. Notice how CNN edits his answers.

Consider the question about sodomy. The Bible expressly condemns unnatural sexual behavior as an "abomination." For thousands of years, it has been plainly understood that the Bible simply means what it says. It doesn't take a fancy degree or advanced word studies to understand.

Yet CNN cut off any biblical references and instead appealed to the high priest of progressivism, a female pastor who wears Christianity like a skin suit while believing all the tenets of the secular liberal faith. The fact that she is the founder of an organization called "Faith in Democracy" shows where her true faith lies.

Look at how sympathetic this CNN "journalist" was to her!

The face of journalistic objectivity!

There was also the attempt to paint Wilson as racist (the great sin of the liberal faith), which backfired:

The god of this CNN reporter and the God of Douglas Wilson are two vastly different entities.

We have to choose between them. You may choose yourself as god and be tolerant of everything and everyone in the name of niceness. The wide, easy road to hell is paved with very good, very kind intentions.

But if there is a God, and if the Bible - which the majority of the human race sees as the inspired Word of God in some shape or form - plainly and clearly tells us what God expects from us, don't expect Him to be happy if you choose to ignore Him in the name of being "tolerant" and "kind."

How we order our lives, and then our families, and then our societies to obey God is literally the most important question for all of us to answer.

If you reject God, so be it. But don't pretend that you can have two masters. You will either serve God, or you will serve the religion of secular liberalism. As Joshua once told the Israelites, choose this day which god you will serve.

Other nations understand this deeply. India is Hindu. Saudi Arabia is Muslim. Those nations want their gods to reign supreme. They have no qualms about spreading over the earth to seize land and win disciples.

Only Christians are meant to feel shame for obeying the EXPLICIT command of their God to disciple the nations and teach them to obey EVERYTHING He has commanded us.

You are free to disagree with the finer points of women's suffrage and other political arguments that Wilson makes. The great thing about Christianity is that it is rooted in the belief of the inherent worth of the individual, free speech, forbearance, love, being quick to listen, and a wide diversity of ecclesiastical and magisterial hierarchy.

(Look, for example, at how CNN lumped in Paula White with Wilson, even though the two share little in common outside faith in Jesus Christ!)

Christians built those beautiful little towns in Europe that thrived for centuries because Christianity made strong homes with moral people who wanted to make their world better by ordering it and caring for it according to God's commands. Christians were the ones, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who innovated out of curiosity for God's handiwork and love for their fellow man. Christians explored, invented, and forged the world we know today. The reason we have antibiotics or a culture that so deeply values animals and the environment is because of Christian teaching.

CNN wants to pretend such things can grow in the laboratory of atheistic individualism. They have not and will not! Liberalism does not give anyone a reason to fight, explore, or grow. It creates entitled navel-gazers who don't reproduce and seek pleasure rather than undertaking great endeavors. In other words, "progressivism" is a faith that progresses to nowhere.

Such a hedonistic nihilism is bound to be conquered by those who do actually believe in conquering the world for their gods.

If you need an example, please see England. 👇

Christianity means following Christ, not feminism or the tenants of 20th-century liberal democracy in its death throes. It means embracing a fight for Christendom, as difficult and messy as that might be, instead of thinking our duty to God and man involves shirking responsibility in the name of winsomeness and persecution.

Our struggle is not against people, but against "the devil's schemes." But for generations, Western Christians have not realized that liberalism, "seeker sensitivity," and toxic empathy are part of those schemes.

The way forward is not in finding mutual consensus that makes us all feel like we accomplished something, but in studying the Word of God and DOING WHAT IT SAYS.

'This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.' - Joshua 1:8

Are you a Christian soldier who has grown fat and thinks his laziness is righteousness because he's experiencing "persecution"? I don't need to tell you what to do. Christ Himself is here to convict you:

'His master replied to him, "You evil, lazy servant! If you knew that I reap where I haven't sown and gather where I haven't scattered, then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and I would have received my money back with interest when I returned.

... throw this good-for-nothing servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'"

Jesus explicitly told His disciples that ALL authority has been given to him, full stop. Therefore, because His authority is above any law, we are to disciple the nations.

How?

By teaching the nations to obey EVERYTHING Jesus commands.

Jesus came near and said to them, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'

This is not an inward, pietistic faith. This is a faith that boldly declares, hotly contests, and unapologetically conquers. And unlike anything the devil could scheme up, it conquers through grace and love.

Douglas Wilson and his compatriots at Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, did a thorough job of defending that conquering faith. The "great cloud of witnesses" would be proud of their perseverance in the race marked out for them.

As for which god will win once the brief distraction of secular liberalism is dead and buried ... you'll just have to take Wilson's word and wait 250 years or more to find out.
