Is this that colonialism I keep hearing about?
So she has a problem with Irish schools because they speak Irish (Gaeilge) and are too white.

I'm not woke, so I don't have a problem with cultures naturally changing to become more diverse in customs, ethnicity, or language. But this is not the natural change of culture.
This is a demand that seeks to use the force of government to impose new standards on a people group (this is called subjugation).
Since the Irish have had hundreds of years of the English trying to subjugate them, let's conduct a thought exercise about colonialism.
Imagine a white Englishman from 1780 who says Ireland needs to give up its culture. It should be using English, not Gaeilge, in schools. This Englishman thinks this standard of "equity" and "inclusion" should be applied across the British Empire, whether in Ireland or in Kenya or in India. Everyone must give up their unique culture for the glory of the Crown.

Today, the political left is aghast at this kind of colonialism - a routine aspect of historical conquest - even while they themselves engage in colonialism!
From pushing abortion clinics in Africa to funding gender programs in Pakistan to demanding the Irish become more "diverse," the woke crusaders are on a mission to destroy indigenous culture and make it look more like them.
"Diversity" is a particularly clever ploy by the woke colonizers. Diversity, in general, is good, but their kind of "diversity" means "erase your culture to create a vacuum for other cultures to rule over you." It's just been packaged in a way that sounds more palatable to the people being conquered.
Cultures change. The pagan culture of Ireland was steeped in slavery, death-cult mysticism, and human sacrifice. But when St. Patrick returned to the island to share the Bible with his former captors, he did not come with force. The good news of Jesus Christ was compelling enough on its own.
The woke missionaries don't have a compelling gospel. They have to rely on force, but they justify it by saying their colonialism hurts the "haves" (whites) by helping the "have-nots" (non-whites).
This forceful transfer of power and resources (capital) is called Marxism.
Everywhere it has been tried, that kind of forced "diversity, equity, and inclusion" has created hell on earth.
