Born in the same year as Jackie Robinson and Nat King Cole, Kathleen Hennings, is still living her life to the fullest at 105-years-young.
The retired accountant credits her long life to her daily habit of drinking a pint of Guinness each day with her lunch.
She first started drinking her daily pint when she was a teenager, telling Fox News Digital,
In my late teens, I would join my brother and parents for a Guinness with their evening meals, but Guinness was, and still is, a perfect match for every meal.
Now, almost a century later, she keeps it up by having the drink with her lunches that are served at Care UK's Sanfields retirement home where she lives in the UK.
Hennings spent her childhood in London, living there during World War II, but after the war, she moved with her family to the Cotswolds. There they enjoyed a bit of the country life and acquired a taste for the stout beer.
To celebrate her birthday last month, her retirement home threw her a party and gave her a gift that included a set of Guinness pint glasses, and of course, the black stout that is her signature drink.
When asked what her secret is to a long life, the 105-year-old said bluntly,
Drink Guinness and don't marry.
