169 people on the FBI's terror watchlist have been stopped at the southern border over the past year. That’s more than the previous SIX YEARS COMBINED.

Notice how this headline says "Border Patrol stops record number of people on terror watchlist."

What the headline doesn't tell us is how many people on the terrorist watch list actually crossed the border. And that's scary to say the least, especially considering what's going on in the Middle East.

Here's some numbers for ya:

Border officials arrested 18 people on the FBI's terror watch list in September, making fiscal year 2023 a record year for such encounters at the southern border.

According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics released Saturday, 169 people on the FBI terror watch lists were encountered between ports of entry at the southern border in the past 12 months, a number that exceeds not only fiscal year 2022's record-setting total (98) but the last six fiscal years combined.

SIX YEARS!

With encounters between ports at the northern border included, the total for fiscal year 2023 was 172.

So 3 people coming through Canada and 169 through Mexico.

That's 172 people on the FBI's terror watchlist who were caught trying to sneak into our country in fiscal year 2023. Maybe time to start considering that border wall idea if you're a Democrat. That is, of course, unless you want our country to devolve into chaos.

Even more surprising are the numbers of people on this watchlist who actually tried to enter through our ports of entry: 564 individuals in FY 2023. That makes 736 encounters at our border with individuals on the FBI's terror watch list. That is disturbing.

I found this interesting as well:

Fox News reported last week that thousands of "special interest aliens" from numerous countries, including the Middle East, have been arrested by Border Patrol agents while attempting to cross the U.S. southern border illegally over the last two years. "Special interest aliens" are people from countries identified by the U.S. government as having conditions that promote or protect terrorism or potentially pose some sort of national security threat to the U.S.

Yeah, there are a lot of terrorists out there not on an FBI list. So that's something to keep an eye on as well.

But if 172 people who are on that FBI list have been caught trying to enter our country illegally, can you imagine how many are unaccounted for and inhabiting our cities as we speak?

That number, if we had it, would likely scare the daylights out of us.

We are long overdue for that wall at the southern border.
