I think I remember a certain someone who said "they aren't sending their best."

Just 6 months after a catch and release at the southern border a 36-year-old Venezuelan national has been arrested in Virginia for sexually assaulting a minor.

Deputies in Campbell County, Virginia said they arrested an illegal migrant in connection with the sexual assault of a minor.

Last week, the sheriff's office arrested Renzo Mendoza Montes, a 32-year-old man, on a pair of felony charges that relate to the sexual assault of an underage individual.

Montes crossed into the country through El Paso on September 3rd and worked his way up to Campbell County, Virginia, in those 6 months.

The Border Patrol caught and detained Montes, but they also immediately released him due to the Biden administration policy.

Few other details are currently available about the sexual assault he allegedly committed, but his arrest is the latest in a string of violent crimes against US citizens by illegal immigrants.

Another Venezuelan migrant was charged last week in the murder of Georgia college student Laken Riley, having also illegally crossed in El Paso before being released into America.
