Joe Biden is creating a movement. After half a century in the swamp of politics, he's ready to roll up his sleeves and root out all the corruption he contributed to (right after his nap, of course!).
On Wednesday, Democrats held a campaign rally in New Hampshire for Biden, followed by a parade to rally the troops and excite the base. Of course, since Old Joe was tuckered out from awkwardly dancing to Despacito in Florida the day before, he stayed home in Delaware, safely preserved in his basement.
While Hidin' Biden enjoyed some apple juice and some cookies, his wife valiantly took to the campaign trail, speaking on her husband's behalf in New Hampshire. Along with Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, she spoke to an impassioned crowd of at least 2 people, with hay and apples added to the venue for that extra "salt-of-the-earth" American feel.
After speaking, Jill and Doug took to the streets, where they passed out yard signs and got ready for a parade in their honor. The overwhelmingly enthusiastic citizens of New Hampshire showed their adoration and support by turning out for this last event. Well, at least four overwhelmingly enthusiastic citizens that is. Here is the Biden parade in all its glory. Note the crowd of reporters and cameramen making sure they get great angles on the 15-second parade:
Jill was super proud of the event herself:
Meanwhile, over in camp Orange Man Bad, evil conservatives had a parade of their own yesterday in Cincinnati, Ohio. It too was a small parade – of just 16,000 to 20,000 vehicles. It was just one of several Ohio parades planned this month. No biggie.
Perhaps the best visual between these two campaigns is the following video, in which a Biden supporter showed up to a Trump boat parade with an itty bitty boat. Even better, however, is that his little boat is starting to sink as the Trump flotilla passes him. The Biden supporter frantically bails out his tiny vessel before waving a white flag to signal his need for help. Even if this whole thing was staged, it's still the perfect visual for the enthusiasm between these two campaigns:
Keep up the great work, Team Biden!
