Ok, so maybe you didn't ask for it, but here it is …
In a bid to attain the ultimate cool factor and revitalize their branding, McDonald's has just launched a merchandise and music partnership with rap artist, Jacques Berman Webster II, aka Travis Scott, or Cactus Jack.
Micky D's will promote his music, and he will promote the McDonald's brand through a bizarrely diverse merchandise drop available through Scott's website.
"Partnering with Scott is a way to advertise to young people without all the burdens and potential misfires of actually advertising to young people," reports The NY Times.
Merchandise includes everything from socks to shirts and toys to ties, all emblazoned with McDonald's or Cactus Jack logos.
But perhaps the most curious of the products is the 36" chicken nugget body pillow. One might call it a Snuggy Nuggy.
