Tucker Carlson is launching a new media company that could potentially use Twitter as the base of its platform and subscriptions, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The company will be co-created by former White House advisor Neil Patel, who co-founded The Daily Caller with Carlson in 2010.
The new company would be anchored by longer versions of the free videos that Carlson has been posting regularly on Twitter since shortly after his departure from Fox News, but would ultimately be driven by subscriptions.
The report indicates that Carlson and Patel are looking to raise hundreds of millions of dollars to launch the new service.
