A cat led rescuers to an elderly woman trapped in a ravine, giving a much-needed win to Team Cat

Dogs have been dunking on cats for millennia, and it's pretty well-established scientific fact that dogs are just way better than cats.

But sometimes Team Cat needs a win, and Piran the British cat was happy to give it to them this week.

"This afternoon Officers from Bodmin were tasked to conduct a search for a missing 83 year old female," the Bodmin Police Department wrote on its Facebook page.

"The female was located by a member of the public who had spotted the female's cat, meowing in the corner of a large maize field near to her home address."

You've got to hand it to Piran: He did pretty well here. Every dog has his day, and sometimes even a cat has one, too.
