VIDEO: Chinese zoo denies that sun bear standing on two legs is man in suit ... it just made people more suspicious ๐Ÿ˜‚

A video from a Chinese zoo went viral recently and started the rumor that one of the sun bears in the exhibit was nothing more than a man in a bear suit. And if you see the video, you'll understand why people thought it.

The zoo denied that this is just some teenager stuffed in a bear suit, but man, if it was, that would be hilarious.

Across the social media landscape, the zoo statement seems to have only fueled greater distrust and skepticism. I guess that's the world we live in today.

But what's even funnier though is that it's really just a sun bear. And that's what they look like.

Terrifyingly human-esque.

If you don't know, a sun bear lives in more tropical environments in Malaysia, which explains why it doesn't need to be fat like your typical bear. No hibernation and no food stores. Just a weird freak of nature.

It's the smallest bear, and it has weird limbs that make it excel at climbing trees in the jungle.

They're also about 4 to 5 feet tall standing up. A long way from their black and brown bear relatives.

If these are all fake, then I've just gotta give a hand to these zoos. What a prank. It should be noted that Chinese zoos have been caught trying to pass off dogs as wolves and chickens as ostriches.

If they want to debunk the bear suit theory, all they really need to do is get him to stick out his freakishly long tongue.

Not even Gene Simmons could pull that one off!
