Okay, this story is why a website such as NTB exists:
Yes, a 41-year-old Pennsylvania woman was just truckin' along in her 1999 Mercury Mountaineer on Sunday night when, BOOM, she fell asleep.
And within her dream – which she doesn't remember because she was allegedly drunk – I'm sure there were plenty of nice, pleasant things. Maybe some flowers or an old boyfriend. I'm sensing a sailboat.
But all that came to an abrupt end – as some dreams tend to do – when our intoxicated SUV-drivin' fox crashed into the Silver Pines Treatment Center.
Yes, a drunk woman, around midnight, crashed her car into a drug and alcohol rehab facility.
Like, does she just walk to the front desk and check in at this point?
How does that work?
I think there ought to be some sort of a deal for this, too. Like, hey, if you happen to be drunk driving in the area and crash your car into our facility we'll take 10% off your stay* for the first week.
*You must first pay for the damages.
I think that could really catch on!
Just so you know, nobody was hurt inside the rehab center. Also, the driver apparently got out of the vehicle and was walking around just fine (for a drunk person). So that's good.
Anyhow folks, this story should serve as a friendly little reminder to just plain not drink and drive.
