A pizza shop owner in Delaware was minding his own business (literally), closing up shop and leaving for the night when a crazed lunatic tried to rob him with a machete.
What's a pizza shop owner to do in a situation like this?
I mean this guy is no Miss Nancy, the dude owns and runs a pizza shop and, as the last one to leave, clearly works his tail off. That's a tough business, for hard workers only, not for softies or whiners.
Do you think this self-starting alpha is going to finish another long day serving up pizza pies just to give up his hard-earned money to some lazy clown wielding an extremely large blade? No, no he is not.
So what does the Pizza Man do? He chucks a pizza at the robber, causing the sad little man to run away and flee in a car.
If only we had video of this epic clash. In my mind I imagine the decisive blow might have looked something like this:
If Pizza Man was leaving the shop carrying a pizza, you know he was bringing it home for dinner, too, maybe for the fam. So it must have been piping hot, straight out of the oven.
Did this great man slap a machete-wielding goon upside the face with a full, blazing-hot pizza pie, possibly delivering serious burns to the robber's mug? We have no further details. But that's how I like to imagine it.
