Oh no.
That was at the end of the Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III exhibition boxing match over the weekend. Yes, that Floyd Mayweather โ undefeated best defensive boxer of all time and possible GOAT. And yes, that John Gotti III โ grandson of the Teflon Don John Gotti, infamous mob boss who ruled the Gambino crime family after whacking out his own boss, Paul Castellano.
Referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight with less than a minute left in the sixth round but ... the fight didn't stop. Gotti attacked, Mayweather squared up, punches started flying, and HERE COME THE CORNERS!
It seems at first watch like Gotti just bull rushed Mayweather but if you listen at the very beginning of the clip you can hear Floyd say, "Let's go!" Then Gotti comes forward. It was mutually agreed upon.
I don't know if you know anything about John Gotti or his son, III's dad, but if you ask me, Money Mayweather should use the millions he earned from this exhibition match to hire a bunch more security to hang around him 24/7 for, oh, the rest of his life.
