How cool is this?

Dakota Wollan of Watford City, North Dakota, recently took his 92-year-old great-grandmother, Madeline Miller, to her very first prom.

The idea came from Dakota's dad. Wollan told his parents that he didn't have anyone he wanted to take to prom, so his dad suggested that he take his great-grandmother.

Miller had dropped out of high school as a young teenager to help her parents on their farm, and never had the opportunity to attend prom.

Wollan then achieved his best grandson of the year status by asking his great-grandmother to prom using a sweet "promposal" just like the kids do these days.

Miller had previously given her great-grandson a 1985 truck that he had fixed up, so he asked her to go to prom with a sign reading: Can I take you to prom in this old truck?

She said yes, and the two had a great time together at her first prom.

Miller said of the night,

"Walking beside my great-grandson, listening to the music as we walked, and people clapping and hollering were some of the best moments."

They danced the first dance together, and then Wollan took his date back home in his "old truck."

Well done, young man. ❤️
