Just in time for The Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia this week, Adidas announced today that they will be releasing a special edition golf shoe that no one saw coming.
That's right: The Waffle House shoe.
The shoe features a waffle pattern and a color scheme that mimics waffle batter and syrup (something you obviously want to stick your feet in).
Adidas released a statement about the crossover product, saying,
With Georgia on everyone's mind this week, we wanted to cook up something special. So, we got on the phone with our friends in Georgia who know how to cook up good food better than anyone else: Waffle House.
I mean, Waffle House is good, but it seems a tad generous to say their food is better than anyone else's. They don't even make the best waffles.
But I have to say, these shoes do look pretty nice.
They even have the Waffle House logo on the heel.
Just don't actually pour syrup in these $210 shoes. That would be really wasteful. Not to mention sticky.
The limited-edition shoes will come packaged in a shoebox that looks like the iconic Waffle House restaurant, which are all conveniently shaped like a shoebox anyways!!
