I don't know if there's any individual in American politics who can make me cringe more than Sen. Cory Booker when he is shamelessly self-promoting and making a scene for the television cameras.

You may recall his major hit when Booker put on his angry eyebrows and proclaimed himself to be Spartacus.

Yeah, that was bad.

This may be even worse.

In a display on pandering the likes of which has only been matched by Hillary Clinton, Cory Booker put on this spectacle by quoting famed poet Maya Angelou:

.

So painful.

Riiise Sister Jackson! Riiiise Judge Jackson! All the way to the highest court in the land! And when we have that final vote, I will rejoice, ancestors will rejoice and we will say "Lord, this is a day that you have made!"

Booker does his best to channel the stereotypical black preacher in this clip, but it looks like he needs a little bit more practice to be convincing.

I would suggest this clip for Booker to watch. This would be an education on two fronts.
