The United Kingdom banned almost all guns 30 years ago to try to stop attacks like this:

On Saturday evening at 7:42 p.m., two black males in dark clothing began stabbing people onboard a train bound for King's Cross Station in London. The train had departed from a station in Dorcaster at 6:25 p.m.

Ten people were stabbed in the attack.

Here's more info from a witness who talked to Sky News:

Chris Casey, chief superintendent of Cambridgeshire Police, said counterterrorism agents were assisting in the investigation and that two suspects were taken into custody.

As is typical in the growing and numerous examples of migrants involved in violent crimes, Casey asked the public not to "speculate on the causes of the incident."

In a Sunday morning update, British Transport Police Superintendent John Loveless was sure to let the public know that the two black men arrested for stabbing a train-car full of people were "born in the UK."

A 32-year-old man, a black British national, and a 35-year-old man, a British national of Caribbean descent, were both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both were born in the UK. They remain in police custody this morning for questioning.

Translation: They were born on British soil! Don't get any extremist thoughts, now! They're just as British as you and me!

Of the 10 individuals stabbed, 9 had serious injuries. Four were discharged from the hospital overnight, but two remain in critical condition.

Loveless also gave an update on the terrorism aspect (read: whether Islamic ideology was involved), then made sure to repeat the line about not jumping to conclusions:

We declared a major incident yesterday and Counter Terrorism Policing were initially supporting our investigation however at this stage there is nothing to suggest this is a terrorist incident. This is a British Transport Police investigation. We continue work to establish the full circumstances and motivation for this incident. At this early stage it would not be appropriate to speculate on the causes of the incident.

The British people see right through that PR tactic:

We'll update this if we get more details about the suspects and their motive.
