The left has been very worked up over the fact that this bill in Florida would prevent teachers from indoctrinating children as young as 4 into the sexual revolution.
And now, the Mouse House has spoken.
Or more accurately, Disney's new CEO Bob Chapek has spoken out against what the leftwing media and Democrats have dubbed the "Don't say gay" bill, which has nothing to do with the word gay.
Yep, Disney is making it an official corporate position that they want children as young as 4 years old to be taught about sexual identity, orientation, and transgenderism.
Go back and read that sentence again.
As a matter of fact, the Florida bill would outlaw ALL sexual discussions with kids from Pre-K to 3rd grade. But Disney has decided they want to pressure Florida Governor Ron DeSantis into caving on the bill.
From CNN:
Bob Chapek, Disney's CEO, was criticized Monday for speaking out about โ but not directly condemning โ Florida's controversial "Don't Say Gay" bill, with some feeling that Disney's statement fell short. On Wednesday, Chapek agreed with the criticism.
"I understand our original approach, no matter how well intended, didn't quite get the job done," he said during the company's annual shareholders meeting.
Chapek took a stronger stance against the bill Wednesday, telling shareholders that he called Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Wednesday morning to convey the company's "disappointment and concern." Chapek said if the legislation becomes law it "could be used to unfairly target gay, lesbian, non-binary and transgender kids and families."
It seems that Chapek and his team haven't read the bill, which does nothing to target LGBT or any other groups. It's a blanket ban on sexual discussions with 4- to 8-year-olds and nothing more than that.
Allie Beth Stuckey probably has the best and simplest take on this whole "Don't say gay" business of anyone I've seen.
Straight ๐ฅ.
This is absolutely correct.
Yet lefties all the way up the White House are railing against the anti-groomer legislation.
It's no shock that Disney, which has been at the forefront of the sexual and cultural revolution for decades, now holds this radical position.
I'd have a hard time trusting the Mouse House to provide safe programming for my kids.
