Al Sharpton has collected almost a million dollars in bonuses from his non-profit over the past seven years

Boy, oh boy, would you look at this:

Almost $1 million in bonuses!

Such privilege!

Sharpton is the founder and CEO of National Action Network. Founded in 1991, Sharpton's non-profit calls itself "one of the leading civil rights organizations" in the country.

Here's the scoop on this nearly million dollars in bonuses Sharpton has paid himself over the past seven years:

In 2014, Sharpton gave himself a $64,400 bonus.

In 2016, he gave himself a whopping $437,555, which was more than the $250,000 base compensation he listed that year.

In 2018, he listed $159,596 as a bonus to his $324,000 base compensation.

Notably, he listed another $563,352 under 'other reportable compensation.'

Fast-forward to 2021, Sharpton gave himself a sizable $278,503 bonus, which was roughly 80% of his $348,174 base compensation that year.

In total, Sharpton collected $940,054 in bonuses from his nonprofit over the seven-year period.

That's nearly a million in bonuses over a seven-year period!

I see Al's got light skin, so I'm wondering if these bonuses fall into the category of "white privilege."

Please let us know, Al.

Also, I do have to wonder if any of Al's 2024 bonus money (not listed in this article) came from the Harris campaign's $500,000 in donations to National Action Network in the weeks leading up to his softball MSNBC interview with the now-failed presidential candidate …

MSNBC claims to have been "unaware" of this pay-to-play scheme, and I'm sure they'll keep Sharpton on as a weekend host.

Either way, keep getting that money, Al.

We know you're enjoying your privilege!
