Uh oh, looks like the pandemic honeymoon is over, folks. Amazon is moving to have employees back in the office five days a week starting in 2025.

Gen Z and Millennials upon learning they must break out their business casual outfits again:

Here's the details on this move by Amazon.

Amazon.com Inc. Chief Executive Officer Andy Jassy is ordering the retail giant's employees to return to working in the office five days a week beginning in January and said the company will seek to reduce management layers.

Previously, Amazon had required employees to badge in at least three days, depending on the requirements of their team. Amazon‘s return to office plans will make exceptions for extenuating circumstances or cases where managers had already approved a fully remote position, Jassy said in a note to employees, that was also posted on Amazon‘s corporate blog.

Come on, Amazon!

I get that you were already back three days a week, but my boss is currently reading this article and is probably considering moving us to an office setting.

And if we do that, how am I supposed to lay down on a couch with my laptop rested on my bent legs and type up articles like this one?

I don't know about you folks, but I think it's about time for another pandemic.
