"America has become unsafe": Starbucks CEO explains closing 16 stores in major cities, says "there are gonna be many more"

Honestly, it sounds like Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has been reading Jesse James here on NTB.

We told you the other day that Starbucks was shutting down 16 stores in major US cities, and Jesse told you his opinion, that the crime has made it impossible for these stores to remain open.

Well, the CEO of Starbucks in an internal meeting, confirmed that everything we told you was EXACTLY correct. The reason these coffee shops are closing down is due to crime and Democrat governors, mayors, and DAs.

We are beginning to close stores that are not unprofitable...

One of the primary concerns that our retail partners have is their own personal safety. And then we heard the stories that go along with it about what happens in our bathrooms. The issue of mental illness, the issue of homelessness and the issues of crime.

Starbucks is a window into America, we have stores in every community and we are facing things in which the stores were not built for. And so, we're listening to our people and closing stores, and this is just the beginning. There are gonna be many more.

You hear that?

This is only the beginning!

Starbucks is closing money-making stores, and plans to close more, because these Democrat-run cities are becoming impossible to work in. It's too dangerous for employees to work in these crime and drug-infested ratholes.

Schultz goes on:

In my view, at the local, state, and federal level, these governments across the country and leaders, mayors and governors and city councils, have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and addressing mental illness.

That is sure to trigger the woke, criminal justice reformers who commonly work at Starbucks across the country.

But he's just calling it as he sees it. Crime is out of control, and he's right, it's because Democrats across the country have allowed it to happen.

Starbucks is one of the most woke and progressive companies in the US, and their liberal politics looks like it's finally coming back to bite them.
