Tools like ChatGPT and other AI have really changed the rules of the game.

And whether you surrender to it or fight it kicking and screaming, things will never be the same.

MSCI, an American finance company, has utilized its expertise to assess and rank US industries based on their chances of being taken over by artificial intelligence.

And let me tell ya; it's not looking good for most of us.

The data came from a 2023 Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research report that estimated automation exposure for over 900 US jobs.

With administrative support, management, and sale at the top of the list, we have jobs like construction and maintenance and repair all the way at the bottom of the list.

So, if you still have time and the chance, go into trades, people!

In the top 10 jobs at risk, we have:

IndustryEstimated Share of U.S. Employment Exposed to AI (%)
Office and administrative support 46%
-
Legal 44%
-
Architecture and engineering37%
-
Life, physical, and social science36%
-
Business and financial operations35%
-
Community and social service33%
-
Management32%
-
Sales and related31%
-
Computer and Mathematical29%
-
Farming, fishing, and forestry28%

The jobs most at risk are some of the most common. Tasks like data entry, scheduling, writing reports, contract analysis, etc., are first on the chopping block.

My father, who is close to retirement working as an electrician, has been working more hours than ever before because of the trade workers shortage.

Ain't no computer gonna take out pops!

Again, if you still have hope, GET A TRADE JOB.
