Darien Urban, 21, and Shalene Ehlers, 20, of Arkansas, recently sold their two-month-old baby for a six-pack of beer.

No joke.

Well, technically, it was one six pack of beer and a $1,000 cashier's check, but they handed the baby over with the beer as a deposit and a promise of getting the check later.

The couple was filmed signing a contract for the baby's sale, which had the following clause:

There will be no changing y'all two's minds and to never contact again.

The man who bought the baby was one Cody Martin, who handed the child over to detectives.

Sadly, the baby was in severe medical distress when detectives received the child, suffering from blistering diaper rash and swelling.

So, why did Urban and Ehlers sell their child?

You'll never guess.

Not in a million years.

Seriously, I can't believe I even have to use this quote from mom; it's inhuman.

It was not working having three dogs and a baby.

They chose their dogs over their baby!

Hopefully, neither of them will ever have a dog or baby again where they're heading.

They both face felony charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and attempting to negotiate the relinquishment of a minor for adoption.

Lock the door and throw away the keys.
