It wasn't long ago when we published a story about Oregon drug dealers who kept their stash in a bag cops would never, ever look in:
You would think after that tactic misfired, no one would imagine trying it again.
And yet …
Meet Florida woman, Teryn Acri, who had recently been pulled over and caught with drugs. As a result of her learning experience, she thought she'd get a little sneaky, so she put her drugs in a place where Florida cops would never, ever look: a bag labeled "Definitely not a bag full of drugs".
You know the one:
When she got pulled over again, and the police asked her what was in the bag, she assured them it was definitely not drugs.
It says so right on the bag!
But for some reason, they didn't trust her or her bag, and they took a peek. Guess what they found!
Deputies discovered methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, small baggies, cut straws, and other drug-related items.
Acri was booked on several drug-related charges including trafficking in meth, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
I'm starting to think the "Definitely not a bag full of drugs" bag isn't the best place to hide your drugs after all.
