Ayanna Pressley says Walgreens is racist for closing stores in high-theft areas ๐Ÿค”

Some fascinating stuff here from everyone's favorite congresswoman:

Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley condemned Walgreens on the U.S. House floor Tuesday for closing another pharmacy in Roxbury, an act Pressley said will deepen racial, economic, and healthcare inequalities for marginalized groups. ...

"These closures are not arbitrary and they are not innocent," Pressley said in her speech. "They are life-threatening acts of racial and economic discrimination."

That's gotta be it. I mean there's no possible reason that these stores would close down other than that they want to be racist. Yup.

And... wait a sec. Let's back up.

IS PRESSLEY SUGGESTING HIGH-THEFT AREAS ARE PREDOMINATELY BLACK AND BROWN??

Pretty soon, she'll be reading off FBI crime stats like a right-wing neo-Nazi!!

But yeah, I'm sure Walgreens is trying to divide America and screw over "marginalized" groups. They're probably setting up new stores in rich white KKK enclaves as we speak!

Or, you know, they're responding as literally every living organism on the planet does when it is repeatedly attacked or faces an inhospitable environment: They move.

But Democrats will not be swayed:

Senator Edward Markey and Elizabeth Warren and Pressley released a joint letter earlier this month warning of "insurmountable" and possibly "deadly" consequences of losing the pharmacy.

The reality is that Dems hate private business but they can't go full-commie in America (yet), so instead they guilt businesses into doing what they want by saying people will literally die if they don't have a 24/7 Walgreens down the street from them.

How much of an evil idiot do you have to be to be that messed up in the head?
