During the most extensive search for the Loch Ness Monster in 50 years, the research team has made a new development.
Yes, they have an update, but no, they still don't have solid evidence of shy old Nessie.
Alan McKenna from Loch Ness Exploration announced in a news conference that they heard four "very distinctive noises" coming from the water last Friday.
Unfortunately, their audio recording equipment was not plugged in.... because of course.
We heard some fantastic bizarre sounds on Friday.
It may well be gas escaping from the bottom of the loch. It could be an animal or, of course, it could be the elusive Loch Ness monster.
Whatever you may think of this most likely futile adventure, McKenna seems to be having a great time during the pressers. He looks like a happy guy with a playful spirit - which I guess you need to be searching for the Loch Ness Monster!
The Loch Ness Center's Facebook page is filled with pictures and videos of community members coming out to join the search, and I must say, it's pretty adorable and looks like a lot of fun!

The Center has also stated that it is examining "unexplained" footage submitted by volunteers who participated in the expedition.
McKenna mentioned that approximately 100 individuals contributed to the in-person search daily during the weekend, while an additional 300 people scoured webcams for any indications of the legendary monster.
Furthermore, they deployed a thermal imaging drone to survey the waters.
There's a lot of data. It's going to take us time to get through all of that.
So, are you convinced yet?
We'll keep you posted!
