Hey Iran, it's me, Jill's husband. I heard you're going to attack Israel, so, uhh, first of all, don't. Second of all, if you do, let's just keep it within certain limits, okay. Don't tell anyone I said that.

That's not exactly how the exchange went, but it's close.

Iran informed us (Turkey) in advance of what would happen. Possible developments also came up during the meeting with Blinken, and they (the US) conveyed to Iran through us that this reaction must be within certain limits.

Then, according to the Jerusalem Post, the Biden Administration, through Turkey, told the Iranians to keep their attack on Israel "within certain limits."

And if we're being honest, they did keep it within certain limits.

Great for publicity back home in Iran, not so great for actually attacking Israel.

Regardless, this was an act of war, and it will undoubtedly escalate the situation. All with the apparent approval of our president, who is so strong on the global scale that he was able to get the Iranians to only attack "within certain limits."

No word yet on whether those "certain limits" came in exchange for a pallet of cash.
