When law enforcement officers are being ambushed in the streets of major cities, perhaps trying to disarm law-abiding citizens is not the most intelligent way to go?
Sunday night, Joe Biden tweeted that he supports an "assault weapons" ban and a ban on high capacity magazines, calling them "weapons of war."
Hidin' Biden uses the typical, vague, scare-language of "weapons of war" and "assault weapons" which are never fully defined and are just used to sensationalize gun ownership.
Biden said earlier this year that he will place Beto "take your guns away" O'Rourke in charge of the gun issue in a Biden administration.
However, this year with Coronavirus concerns, local government overreach, and riots in the street, gun sales have skyrocketed.
According to Fox Business, "Gun sales surged 135% year-over-year in July to about 2 million and have already matched all of last year, according to a report released earlier this week by research consultancy Small Arms Analytics and Forecasting. Sales were up 145% in June, 80% in May and 71% in April."
Given these numbers, it is likely that many on the left have changed their minds about guns and are more favorable towards the 2nd Amendment, as seen with podcaster Tim Pool.
This anti-gun scare-mongering is likely less effective when the people in this country are now more likely to see a legitimate use for 2nd amendment protection than ever before.
