Last week, Biden made a stop at a Sheetz gas station in Pennsylvania for a pre-planned photo op and got widely mocked for it.

Less than a week later, Biden's team is SUING that same gas station chain because it uses criminal background checks and the Biden admin says that discriminates unfairly against blacks and Native Americans.

No, really! That's really why the federal government is taking this gas station chain to court!

From NBC 4:

Sheetz Inc., which operates more than 700 stores in six states, discriminated against Black, Native American and multiracial job seekers by automatically weeding out applicants whom the company deemed to have failed a criminal background check, according to U.S. officials.

"Deemed" is doing a lot of work in that sentence!

President Joe Biden stopped by a Sheetz for snacks this week while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit in Baltimore against Altoona, Pennsylvania-based Sheetz and two subsidary companies, alleging the chain's longstanding hiring practices have a disproportionate impact on minority applicants and thus run afoul of federal civil rights law.

So here we have another example of Marxist "equity." The Biden admin thinks that any difference in any outcome means there was oppression or racism at play.

Statistically speaking, black Americans do commit crimes at a higher rate when you lump things by skin color. But wokies look at this and say it isn't the fault of individuals or culture or moral values, but racism. Wokies can't help but see the whole world through skin color.

So when a gas station does criminal background checks and objectively true statistics get in the way of that narrative, they have to assume racism is at play!
