It started with a solemn promise of ending the tyranny of Orange Hitler and flinging the border wide open to oppose the "remain in Mexico" policy of the former administration.
It ended with an old man pleading with Mexicans to stay in their country and not leave their towns:
These two tweets were taken just over a year apart. It's amazing how fast life comes at ya and how quickly promises can be broken, eh?

Here's what Biden had to say last night:
I like how he tries for a moment to look at small illegal immigration spikes over the past few years as the same thing, which they are not.
But even when former Clinton staffer George Stephanopoulos tells him that migrants are wanting to come because Joe seems like a nice guy who won't stop them, the best response Biden can muster is: "Here's the deal: they're not."
Glad we cleared that up, then!!
All of this would be only mildly laughable if it weren't for the fact that Joe ran on the promise that he was going to be a stalwart moral beacon in comparison to Trump's supposed fascist policies.
