Lefties like to sneak in the redistribution of resources wherever there's an opportunity to be found.
One of "moderately radical" Joe's programs was a $4 billion plan approved under his $1.9 TRILLION stimmie package – a program that doles out loan forgiveness to farmers based exclusively on the color of their skin.
What does that mean? Let me put it this way: If you are white, there's no way for you to even apply for said relief funds.
Unfortunately for Joe, our nation still has a partially working system of checks and balances to call out racist laws wherever they may arise:
Wisconsin Judge William Griesbach, a George W. Bush appointee, also claimed the plan did not give adequate examples of recent hardships imposed on minority farmers.
"The obvious response to a government agency that claims it continues to discriminate against farmers because of their race or national origin is to direct it to stop: it is not to direct it to intentionally discriminate against others on the basis of their race and national origin," Griesbach wrote.
"Indeed, Congress can implement race-neutral programs to help farmers and ranchers in need of financial assistance, such as requiring individual determinations of disadvantaged status or giving priority to loans of farmers and ranchers that were left out of the previous pandemic relief funding," Griesbach wrote. "It can also provide better outreach, education, and other resources. But it cannot discriminate on the basis of race."
I'm sure that CNN will do extensive coverage of Griesbach to tell us why canning a racist program was actually racist!
The temporary restraining order was connected with a lawsuit filed against the Biden administration by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty on behalf of 12 farmers who say they are being discriminated against because they are white.
One of the farmers is Adam Faust of Wisconsin, who was born with spina bifida and had both his legs amputated. He had the gall to say "there should absolutely be no federal dollars going anywhere just based on race."
Spoken like a true racist. Doesn't he know this is [insert current year here] and that discrimination against white peeps will make us a more fair and moral nation???
CNN will probably dedicate no less than three primetime segments to how racist this disabled farmer is.
Rick Esenberg, the president and general counsel for the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, also mentioned troublesome things like the Constitution and equality:
"The Court recognized that the federal government's plan to condition and allocate benefits on the basis of race raises grave constitutional concerns and threatens our clients with irreparable harm. The Biden administration is radically undermining bedrock principles of equality under the law."
The woke U.S. Department of Agriculture (which was taxed by Biden in distributing the funds) has said it plans to "forcefully defend" its right to carry out the programs of New Racism™.
The woke establishment apparently learned nothing from the way the USSR, China, North Korea, Venezuela, or Zimbabwe used redistribution programs based on class and race to destroy the agricultural sectors of their nations.
