They must have found a different angle, because from the video we watched it would be difficult to tell how close he was to the line.
'That half-court shot when I put it up, I knew it kind of had a chance, I never expected it to go in!' Lee said.
The crowd inside the Mullins Center erupted, when it did.
Fact check: It was a women's A10 basketball game at the University of Massachusetts, so "erupted" is a bit of a stretch.
But Noah's victory lap was cut short. Replay showed his foot was on the half-court line during that long shot, forcing a turnover of the big prize.
'I was getting texts from people like "oh my God that's incredible, congrats." And then now them all texting me like "oh my gosh that sucks! I'm really sorry!"' Lee said.
Absolute heartbreak. But he's not arguing. It seems like he legit had his foot on the line.

And, to make matters worse, Lee had to sit through the rest of a women's basketball game after his loss!
However, Lee did receive a consolation for his loss. Courtside seats for a future women's game and a suite for him and his buddies at an upcoming men's game, a swag bag and a few other goodies.
