Secret polling after the debate shows it's much, much worse than you think for Biden and Democrats

When left-wing Reddit threads are reporting on a Democrat's looming armageddon, you know it's getting really bad:

Let's see what Reddit's got for us.

A confidential polling memo circulating among anxious Democrats is confirming some of their worst fears: President Joe Biden's support has started to tumble in key electoral battlegrounds in the wake of his disastrous debate performance in Atlanta, and Biden's diminished standing is now putting previously noncompetitive states like New Hampshire, Virginia, and New Mexico in play for Donald Trump.

NTB has obtained exclusive footage of Biden's electoral chances in November:

The outlook for Biden is even grimmer than you think, too.

According to the report, the polling was conducted by Democratic super-group OpenLabs, which functions almost entirely as an in-house data firm for liberal groups and causes. The group's "data-driven memos are trusted in Democratic circles, and typically passed around to a small group of clients and strategists."

The poll in question was "conducted online in the 72 hours after the debate." Its findings were, well, nothing short of incredible:

40 percent of the Biden voters in 2020 that were surveyed now believe the president should end his campaign [up from 25% in May]... Biden is also taking a major hit among swing voters: By a 2-to-1 margin, they believe Biden should exit the race.

But it gets even worse than that!

As Biden's flaks noted in the days after the debate, the national race appeared to change very little. Yet the story is different in battleground states, where voters tend to pay more attention to these sorts of things — and buddy, they're paying attention to this:

In a poll including third-party candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the president has fallen by around 2 points in every single core battleground — and also in states that were not even on the 2024 map last week. In the tipping-point state of Pennsylvania, Biden now trails by 7 points, compared to 5 points before the debate. He has also dropped in Michigan, where he now trails Trump by 7. OpenLabs also found that he is now losing by roughly 10 points in Georgia and Arizona, and by almost 9 points in Nevada.

Twenty-year veterans of the polling industry are looking at these numbers like:

But it is indeed possible! Showing up as a vegetable to a presidential debate will do that to you!

But folks...

It still gets worse:

The most worrisome angle to all this is that Trump is now within striking distance in a variety of states that weren't considered campaign battlegrounds last week. Biden is now only winning by a fraction of a point in Virginia, Maine, Minnesota, and New Mexico — and he's now only winning Colorado by around 2 points.

This is the kind of flip-flop in polling that sends donors screaming for the hills and staffers openly calling for resignations!

A Democrat can't start to lose Minnesota and lose his grip on Colorado without dire, dire consequences.

Democratic leaders are going to be looking at these numbers and knowing they only have a few short weeks to begin shoring up their 2024 chances.

OpenLabs, meanwhile, decided to twist the knife even more vigorously than it already had by running a matchup of Democratic candidates against Trump. The polling firm found that,

[Kamala] Harris, [Michigan Gov. Gretchen] Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, and Pete Buttigieg all poll ahead of Biden in every battleground state.

Biden is doing worse than the Michigan Ice Queen, folks!

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the New York Times dropped this bombshell:

I'm seriously starting to doubt that Biden's gonna be on the ticket in November, y'all!
