I think it's important that we recognize that these organized bands of roving looters are just like you and me, struggling to ensure their families are not forced to go to bed wearing clothing from Old Navy and The Gap.

This is apparently a thing now with this being only "the latest" example of flash mobs overruning designer fashion stores.

Regarding that Louis Vuitton store, that was just a day before this latest incident and included Yves St. Laurent and Fendi among other high-end fashion retailers.

Hey, not every store is going to have your size and color, you know.

As for why this is happening beyond the obvious failure of capitalism to provide for people's basic needs to look fabulous, I guess it will just have to remain a mystery.

That reminds me, I think I might need a pair of Ferragamo's.
