Trump spoke at a rally in Coachella, California yesterday, but that's not the big news.
According to the local sheriff's office, a man in a black SUV with a fake pass tried to enter Trump's rally yesterday. He was stopped and discovered to have multiple weapons.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department arrested a man outside the perimeter of former President Donald Trump's California rally on Sunday who was carrying multiple guns and who reportedly said he wanted to "kill the president." The man was in possession of fake VIP and press passes for the rally.
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said that he believed that the man was planning an attempt on Trump's life.
Yeah, a third assassination attempt was thwarted yesterday by local authorities.
How many more times are they going to try to kill Trump?
The arrest took place at a checkpoint at the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive in Coachella at 4:59 p.m. on Saturday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Office said, according to KTLA 5 in Los Angeles. The rally was scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
The assailant was later identified as 49-year-old Vem Miller of Las Vegas, was illegally in possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine. Miller was arrested and booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity magazine.
Yeah, some nut drove from Vegas to SoCal carrying multiple weapons. He had a fake VIP and a fake press pass. And he was attempting to go behind the scenes for the Trump rally.
I'd say this dude was another potential assassin who was stopped in his tracks by the local authorities.
Miller was detained and released on a $5,000 bail today.
This time, the assassin was allegedly a registered Republican and supposedly a "sovereign citizen" right-wing anti-government radical.
Bianco told the Southern California News Group on Sunday that he believes Miller was seriously intending to assassinate Trump. He desribed the assailant as member of a right-wing, anti-government group. Bianco said his deputies saved the day for the president with their keen observation that Miller was carrying fraudulent VIP and media passes at the rally checkpoint.
"They were different enough to cause the deputies alarm," Bianco told The Press-Enterprise in reference to the passes. "We probably stopped another assassination attempt."
This won't stop. Even if Trump wins. Maybe especially if Trump wins.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is proving insanely dangerous.
