In the latest chapter in the country's descent into third-world status, a California woman named Davina Corbin, 56, was found dead on a trail in Feather Falls, Butte County, after being attacked by dogs.
According to police, a pack of 25 Great Danes were seen "running loose in the area" at the time, and were found by deputies at a nearby residence after Corbin's body was discovered in the middle of the night.
These dogs were so out of control that authorities had to spend the whole day rounding them up, and confirmed that Corbin was a victim of a brutal attack by domestic dogs. DNA testing is being carried out to confirm which dog (or dogs) attacked her.
"Deputies and detectives spent the entire day capturing the dogs, who were running loose in the area," the Butte County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
And like almost all crime in leftist havens like California, this seems like the inevitable outcome of an obvious problem that was just … ignored until it was too late.
One local resident, Max Hecker, said he had a run-in with these Danes himself. They came charging at him, forcing him to escape with his car. He and other residents had been begging Animal Control to do something about these dogs for years, and even called in a complaint the day before the attack.
But nothing happened until someone ended up dead.
No charges have been filed yet, but the investigation is ongoing and the case is headed to the District Attorney's Office.
This is one of many increasingly-common stories of people being attacked in the street by dogs.
A mother in Portland was severely injured when she was attacked by a pack of stray dogs last month, while a child was mauled and killed by dogs in the same city last December.
Like I said, welcome back to the Third World.
