Canada hits pause on assisted suicide program for mentally ill because they don't have enough doctors
· Feb 3, 2024 · NottheBee.com

You know how Canada was going to start killing the mentally ill as part of their MAID (assisted suicide) program?

Well, there's some good news! The program has been halted. The bad news, it's temporary.

I know it's really, really, really dark. But there's something funny about the Canadian socialized healthcare system being at such a gross level of incompetence that they can't effectively execute their death panel program.

I mean, it's not funny. But it is a perfect picture of socialism.

Health officials are slow-walking plans to expand the program, stating there are not enough doctors, specifically psychiatrists, in Canada to evaluate mentally ill people who wish to die, according to the announcement made by Health Minister Mark Holland and Justice Minister Arif Virani. This followed a meeting of the special parliamentary committee looking into the plan, the Times reported.

They'd really like to begin using doctors to kill the mentally ill, but they don't have enough psychiatrists to carry the workload.

The first socialist government to actually slow down the killing.

From 2021 to 2022, the last year data is available, the number of government-sponsored MAID deaths increased by 30%. The Canadian government killed 4% of all the people who died in Canada that year.

And they've only expanded the program since then. And now, if they can get the doctors, they want to "assist" the mentally ill into the grave as well.

It's a good thing they've delayed the implementation of this plan, but if we know Canada they aren't going to slow down the culture of death for long.
