"Asinine, silly, and stupid."
These were the words of the Great One, Charles Barkley, when he heard that ESPN was trying to create a race controversy about this year's NBA MVP possibly going to Nikola Jokic, a white player.
This entire 15-minute interview with the Chuckmeister is absolutely glorious. I won't even timestamp it, listen to the whole thing. He is truly one of the most entertaining men on the planet.

More from The Blaze:
Barkley added, "[W]hen I heard this for the first time last week, I said this has to be one of the most stupid things I've ever heard."
Barkley then accused Perkins of suffering from what he called "ESPN disease," which Barkley argued encourages some analysts to make outlandish claims in order to appear "provocative." Barkley said he was glad Redick pushed back against Perkins' comments.
