The remnants of Hurricane Ida continued their northeastern march across the southern United States on Wednesday, spinning off severe storms and multiple tornado warnings throughout the day.
Reports of a confirmed tornado in Annapolis, Md.—about thirty miles outside of Washington, D.C.—began circulating on Wednesday afternoon.
Intense footage of the tornado's apparent touchdown subsequently began appearing on social media.
