The disastrous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan has been underscored by the fact that our military forces left behind untold numbers of weapons, equipment, vehicles and other critical provisions for the Taliban to just up and take.
This week the victorious Taliban fighters held a parade showing off just a fraction of their U.S.-commissioned, taxpayer-funded military goodies. It's hard to watch. "Humiliating" is a polite way of putting it.
Remember, President Joe Biden declared the withdrawal a success. It's hard to imagine what a "failure" would look like in this case.
