Check out the class of these NHL hockey players as they see off two veteran referees on their last night on the ice

Mar 10th

This is the kind of stuff that brings you to tears right here.

Brad Meier (#34) and Vaughan Rody (#73) have been officiating NHL games since 1999. Both men hung up their whistles on Tuesday night in Minneapolis.

After the game, players from the Minnesota Wild and the New York Rangers showed the boys mad respect for their service.

I gotta give it up for these humble players from New York and Minnesota. This is a gesture I've never seen before.

And we need more of this.

Shout out to Vaughan Rody and Brad Meier for their amazing careers in the NHL!

Also, I'm not crying, you're crying.
