Senator and "Reverend" Raphael Warnock decided to reach new levels of heresy this Easter

Uber-commie Senator and "Reverend" Raphael Warnock decided to go full-blown heretic this Easter in a now-deleted tweet, saying the day is "more transcendent than the resurrection of Jesus Christ" and that "we are able to save ourselves:"

I mean, what in the world was he trying to communicate here?

Warnock is a super far-left ideologue. As an example, the former church he pastored invited Fidel-freaking-Castro to speak in 1995 (and he praised Castro as "complex" after his death).

His theology is informed by this woke worldview.

It should be no surprise then that a pRoGreSsiVe cHriStiAn would believe deep down in the existential transcendentalism of the woke – a philosophy that believes we must discover our own truth and empowerment.

Such a worldview has no need of a savior (or a sovereign God), because it invites a plurality of doctrines where collective [read: Marxist] "inclusion" and "togetherness" help us reach a new shining utopia of evolved humanity through our own effort.

I'll let Allie Beth Stuckey explain:

If you profess to be a Christian, here's a truth you must abide by: the resurrection of Jesus Christ was the single most important event in human history – past, present, or future.

Here's another truth: without said resurrection, you would be hopelessly lost in your sin and separated from a holy God who would rightly judge you according to that sin.

There is absolutely, positively nothing "more" that could be added in meaning or significance to Easter. Death itself was defeated. The debt of sin has been paid. Grace and life are offered freely to all.

There can be no public policy, no political strategy, and no human undertaking that comes infinitely close to that accomplishment.

Yet the wokies will never say that, because at heart they do not believe it.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you." - 1 Peter 1:3-4

He is risen, ya'll.
