This resolution is not only sponsored by Schumer, it's co-sponsored by every single Senate Democrat.
Democrats are upset that Tucker Carlson interviewed Fuentes (using a little something called "free speech") because it brought more attention/credibility to Fuentes, but then they brought more attention/credibility to Fuentes by issuing a formal resolution against him on the floor of the U.S. Senate?
Schumer ignored the fact that Fuentes has been unanimously condemned by a vast array of conservative leaders and espouses views that are in opposition to conservative values. Yet he's using one interview with a right-wing political commentator (an interview that was condemned by much of the Right) to prove that everyone on the Right is a Nazi.
It's almost like this is a publicity stunt to convince voters that Republicans are fascists!

Interestingly, the resolution says nothing about the antisemitic liberal campus protests of '23 and '24, nothing about The Squad's antisemitic comments in Congress, and nothing about Zohran Mamdani threatening to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he visit New York City.
Go figure!
