President Trump has recently proposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico to rectify the enormous trade deficit we're in with each of those countries, and pressure both of them into helping secure the United States border.
This, quite predictably, upset the libs. And here's the senior Democrat in Congress, Chuck Schumer's, response:
Let's just take Super Bowl Sunday, ok? It's gonna affect beer, ok? Most of it, Corona here, comes from Mexico. It's gonna affect guac! Because what is guacamole made of? Avocados! Both from Mexico!
Oh no! Whatever will the millennials do without their guacamole and avocado toast!?
Sure, Chuck, let's continue our country down this path of destruction so we can continue to drink urinal-pad beer like Corona Extra!
Of course, this is a tough point to make for old Chucky, considering how he's changed his tune on tariffs.
So Chuck understands the "why" of tariffs and even the "how." But now the Democrats totally oppose them when it comes to fighting against open borders and being ripped off in trade from our continental neighbors.
It's all a show. All a big joke.
We can't make beer in the US? We can't grow avocados in the southwest?
