Allow me to give you a little insight as to how corporate fact-checking works and how it is destroying credibility all around.
First, Trump says something (in this case he's listing wasteful government spending).
Then, corporate fact-checkers (leftists) try to claim Trump was spreading misinformation.
Next, liberals mock Trump and his followers for believing the "lies."
And finally, the corporate fact-checkers are forced to quietly update their fact check, admitting they were wrong, but also not really telling anyone they mucked up.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is how a corporate fact check works.
