CNN reporters doing a story on San Fran street crime hired security to watch their cars at city hall. You know what happened next.

If you hire security to watch your cars in broad daylight outside CITY HALL in San Francisco, it still isn't enough to dissuade perps from smash and grabs!

Kyung Lah is a national correspondent for CNN, meaning she's a top staff member.

She's been robbed before, so she was smart enough to hire private security.

But it didn't matter, because this is CALIFORNIA, where criminals go to jail for 5 minutes and victims aren't allowed to defend themselves.

Elon had thoughts:

The thieves even took Lah's passport!

When she says "San Francisco is a beautiful city," I'm assuming she means the weather is nice and the Marxist rainbow tolerance cult runs everything.

Because no sane person would call the current state of San Fran "beautiful."

The irony of this all was that CNN was covering the scourge of street crime in the city:

Some quick stats from the NY Post:

Though overall crime has slightly decreased in the first three months of 2023 compared to the same timeframe last year, robberies continue to climb — there have been 525 reported robberies in San Francisco since Jan. 1, data shows.

In December, more than half of the city's residents surveyed told the San Francisco Chronicle that they had been victims of theft or larceny, with illegal entry into automobiles accounting for a majority of the reports.
