Well, howdy there, partner! Saddle up and move ‘em out, because you've got to see the crazy cowboy who ain't taking no crud from no city slickers.
Watch Adam Hollingsworth, AKA the Dreadhead Cowboy, ride his horse onto the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago on Monday during rush hour.
Hollingsworth yelled "Kids' lives matter!" as he rode down the highway with the police in tow, and he uploaded a first-person view of his ride onto Facebook with the caption "Kids lives matter dan ryan shut down until we understand that nothing else matter."
After exiting the highway, he was arrested and he and his horse were taken into custody.
The 33-year-old father of four – who has worked as an exotic dancer for the past decade – gained a love for horses from his uncle, who owns several. He's known for riding his horses around the city of Chicago.
"I done fell in love with horses so much, I done bought more horses than my uncle," said Hollingsworth to a local PBS station. "So I keep my horses out there with him; I love them."
While I can certainly agree with the notorious Dreadhead Cowboy that kids lives do indeed matter (and lament the current violence gripping Chicago), I don't know if the Dreadhead Cowboy is our Huckleberry for ending said violence.
Until next time, partner!
