Staffing shortages and reduced flights have worried a lot of travelers during the government shutdown.
This Delta pilot, named online as Christopher Pennington, had the perfect speech to ease the minds of his passengers:
Before I left the house on this trip, my little one, that'd learned the word 'ice cream,' she made me make sure I promised her to get her some when I get home from the trip. That being said, nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing unsafe comes between me, that little girl, and her ice cream.
