The party of tolerance and joy!
Check this out from Moore County in the swing state of North Carolina:
Dude got himself arrested for nabbing Trump signs outta people's yards.
And then he turned around and resigned.
The chair of the Moore County Democratic Party has resigned after he was arrested for stealing campaign signs.
According to the Moore County Democratic Party, Simon Lowell resigned Monday night.
Simon was arrested on Friday and charged with two counts of misdemeanor larceny of political signs after he was caught stealing the signs, which is illegal under state law.
Simon told WRAL News on Friday that he regrets stealing the signs. According to Simon, the signs, which were campaign signs for former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump, were obscuring the signs he already placed along the stretch of Seven Lakes Drive.
'My worse angels got the better of me … I shouldn't have done that,' he said.
Here's the county Democrats apologizing for Simon's knuckle-headed and illegal actions.
If you can't win, turn to vandalism, eh?
