Denver pastor says "militarized" ICE raid looking for Venezuelan gangbangers was "cruelty unchecked." Let's talk about it.

According to The Denver Post, the real tragedy here isn't violent Venezuelan gangs terrorizing Colorado — it's ICE actually doing its job.

Listen to this description of the raid.

The sprawling apartment complex, home to dozens of immigrant families from Venezuela, Colombia, Haiti, and Central America, was on lockdown. Officers with ICE and the FBI stood guard, heavily armed.

How dare they? Protecting American citizens from crime? Arresting dangerous criminals? The nerve.

Some wore face masks.

FACE MASKS!

THE HORROR!

Dozens of trucks — including armored vehicles resembling tanks — blocked the area, making it look more like a war zone than a Denver neighborhood.

Oh no! The federal agents used standard armored vehicles (that you'd find in every major police department in America) so they'd be protected against bullets in case violent foreign gang members decided to shoot at them??

Being well prepared and well trained is ... scary?

Residents were too afraid to step outside.

That's right: This month, ICE had the audacity to launch an operation in Denver, rounding up 100 members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

You know, just a casual cartel-like group known for extortion, murder, and human trafficking. But let's not focus on that — let's shed a tear for the poor, misunderstood criminals instead.

For four hours, families huddled in fear as ICE swept through their homes and neighborhood. I only saw them physically arrest one person — a young man who looked like a teenager. But on the ICE bus parked nearby, I could see at least three or four other detainees inside.

So ... despite the fact that people were scared by the big mean officers who were protecting Americans from foreign criminals who ignored our border laws and are living here illegally - particularly violent convicted criminals who are running human trafficking, theft, and drug operations ... they only arrested a few people.

Let's look at the foreign criminals that ICE Denver is arresting.

Oh no, ICE is packing the child rapists into buses!

Practically the Nazis, right?

Raids like this are not about public safety. They are about sowing terror in immigrant communities - punishing people for seeking a better life, for working hard, for trying to provide for their children.

And you know that for a fact? You know that none of these agents are loving Americans who are trying to protect their communities from the illegals that have been raping, killing, and stealing from coast to coast?

You absolutely know for certain that there were none of these guys hiding out among the lawful immigrants? 👇

After all, it's not like the criminals would hide out in immigrant communities that have been no-go zones for law enforcement under leftist policies. Right?

And yet, op-ed writer Juan Pena wants to twist Scripture to make us think that these ICE officers are evil stormtroopers.

The Bible calls us to welcome the stranger and defend the vulnerable.

Yes, it does, which is why these ICE agents are trying to protect their nation from violent foreigner criminals.

One can welcome the stranger AND have border laws. This isn't 2005 anymore. We're not falling for bad theology.

Despite what leftist columnists would love for you to believe, this is exactly what Americans voted for: Law and order making a comeback.

Sorry, Denver Post, but we are done with the "let criminals roam free" policy.
